Today i was going to meet up with Frank to hear about his trip to the far-east and we decided to visit the Groene jonker, a wader hot spot.....normally!
Before i left the home the resident House Sparrows started alarm calling frantically, due to this Sparrowhawk (Sperwer) sat on top of their hiding place!
At the Groene jonker we saw the family party of Black-winged Stilts (Steltkluut), as well as a 4th individual and a few waders (but nothing like the totals from 2 years ago).
