Once again back to Eltenberg where groups of Woodpigeon were still moving through.
As were plenty of White-fronted Geese
And a kettle of raptors soon appeared
This Goshawk allowed a nice size comparison with an Eurasian Sparrowhawk
before it too headed south
Followed by plenty of Eurasian Sparrowhawks
and yet another Rough-legged Buzzard
and this Merlin landed briefly in front of us
yet another kettle of Common Buzzards
of varying colours
and a couple of Red Kites
several Hen Harriers (some distant)
and this male coming nice and close late on in the day
We also saw at least 1 Great Grey Shrike on another sunny and gezellig day in a field in Germany
